God is our Father who knows what you need before you even ask Him. In this Father's Day teaching, we journey through Scripture to see what it truly means to call God "Father" and how He desires to father us into His very life. Starting with the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, we discover that we don't have to convince God of our struggles like the pagans do with their many words. Our heavenly Father is intimately acquainted with our pain, our needs, and our daily concerns.
In this message, Pastor Bertie Brits works through John 18:36, 2 Corinthians 10:3 to 5, 2 Corinthians 3, 2 Peter 1:19, Romans 8:19 to 23, 1 Timothy 2:1 to 4, and Revelation 12 to show how the new creation is not built by force, by armies, or by political systems. It is built by people who carry the resurrection life of Jesus and let it shine into the world through prayer, kindness, and the message of eternal life.
